II Chronicles 20:22 And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten. Judah was being threatened by overwhelming odds from multiple enemies. King Jehoshaphat prayed in the temple, the place where God had placed His Name, and recounted the Lord's past glorious acts. He reminded the Lord of His promise of future protection to those who called upon His name. I'm sure it looked rather odd for a group of singers and musicians to be leading an army into battle, but their singing and praising brought results. Points to consider:
