By faith Isaac blessed
Jacob and Esau, even regarding things to come.
By faith Jacob, as he
was dying, blessed each of the sons of Joseph, and worshipped, leaning on the
top of his staff.
By faith Joseph, when
he was dying, made mention of the exodus of the sons of Israel, and gave orders
concerning his bones (Hebrews 11:20-22 NASV).
No doubt the faith of
Abraham was impressed upon Isaac as he was about to be offered as a sacrifice. I
believe Isaac never forgot the promise that the Lord would provide the
sacrifice. Isaac passed this on to his sons, Jacob and Esau. Jacob passed it on
to the sons of Joseph and his own sons. Joseph passed it on to the Israelite
nation.
Your faith, even though
it be as small as a mustard seed (Mt. 17:20), will follow the same
progression:
Take heart and cling tenaciously to your faith, it is a vital
living force that will reproduce and bear much fruit for the
kingdom.

Hail to our chief!
Here's one of his quotes that he would probably like to have
back.
"I think we agree, the
past is over."
On his meeting with John McCain, Dallas Morning News, May 10, 2000 (Personally, as
long as he shows resolve as he did when he cut abortion education funding, he
can do anything he wants with the English language. The crux is not how well a
man speaks, but if you can believe what he's saying.)
